  • We are not stupid. Facebook is no the threat here. The real threat are those corporations that you can’t see that are behind and yet, dominate a big portion of the markets. Oil corporations, banks, lobbyist, corrupt senators and representatives, Telecom moguls… Those are the ones that must be regulated or removed from the equation. #NowYourEnemy

  • Sounds like envy and jealousy disguised as caring concern. Calling for regulation is always suspect! FB will rise or fall in accordance to how it treats its consumers.

  • Surely one of you geniuses can whip out another platform.

  • Please stop calling for government regulation. Are we nations of infants who needs constant oversight? No we are not. Simply, there will be other platforms to replace fb. I’d like one that’s like DuckDuckGo, MySpace, and Instagram all in one. If any developers are listening

  • As coisas estão tão avançadas que tudo o que você pensa em fazer, já tem alguém terminando.

  • If you don’t like it don’t use it. Simple. The market will decide whether it’s considered a good thing for society or not. If people stop liking Facebook or whatever products they offer, then they will break up and so be it, but if not then people like it and use it because it’s useful to them in some way. It’s a decision that the market will make either way, so why ask for any kind of government interference…that’s just ridiculous in my opinion.

  • There are many social media platforms in the world. If freedom is choice, then the world has CHOSEN FACEBOOK. Tbh, government is ill-equipped and incapable of policing a technology that they don’t understand. Breaking up the company won’t help. With that said, FB must make the changes to protect the privacy of its users and stop being so goddamn greedy! #thatsmytwocents

  • But what do you suggest to do about the environment? If politicians have the power to create regulations to “help” the environment, what would stop them to create regulations to help certain companies that bribed them? That is what always happens, you can’t trust politicians, but you can trust yourself to do the right thing, such as avoiding companies that do harm to the environment, per example Dove, they devastate forests, so I stopped buying their products. Or you can create a company to help the environment. And I agree 100% with what you said about men leaving women alone with their babies, those are cowards, not men. One of the policies that helped create that is a leftist policy that will give money for single mothers, and with that 74% of black women raise their kids by themselves. The destruction of family values is another reason. Regarding babies, what I stated was a fact. Have you seen how they remove babies? They chop them into pieces with a super powerful vacuum, while the baby is alive. Me and you aren’t that different, if you knew the facts, you would agree with me as well

  • He didn’t do that, everyone becoming media whores did. We all congregate to his website then get pissed he doesn’t cater to our every whim. If your business and consumption depends on Facebook then that you fault entirely. I don’t get how companies like facebook and YouTube even get people pissed, yeah they restrict your money but you’re on their site. Nothing they do NEEDS to be fair everyone just expects it to. We expect them to allow every opinion and person and when they don’t allow certain ones and restrict access people are pissed. The world isn’t here to be you’re comfy little ride man. YouTube wasn’t made ON someone else’s website. Were in the era of using established companies to create a brand, instead of just making a company. Make a website. There’s free speech but if YouTube don’t want to hear your shit they won’t. If Facebook wants to change your cookies they’ll do it. Relax. If you go broke because Facebook messing with your business you didn’t have a very secure business to begin with
