In an interview with MIT researcher Lex Fridman, Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk reiterated his perception that we’re all dwelling inside a simulation.⁣

When Fridman requested him what his first query can be for the first-ever synthetic normal intelligence system, Musk replied: “What’s exterior the simulation?” Is our actuality only a simulation? In that case, as Musk speculated, what awaits us exterior of it? Faucet the hyperlink in our bio to learn extra.

  • A simulation… inside of a simulation INSIDE of a simulation

  • Interesting, but if this simulation fantasy isn’t falsifiable, then it’s equivalent to religion, imo.

  • Our reality is something we simulate when we interpret the input from our senses

  • Simulation and creation are analogous. This theory is thousands of years old and probably correct, but in modern times belief in God needs to be camouflaged with trendy science themes like “simulation”

  • Reality is perception. To believe otherwise is cognitive dissonance. What’s perceivable is the only reality.

  • Humans can crunch all the the numbers, develop theories and hypothesis but there are still too many pieces of too many pies missing. In the end NO one can truly explain most of what we observe and experience. Until a person stands by every tree that falls in every forest it’s all just speculation

  • First, we are going to Mars and then we are in a simulation? @elonmusk share that space weed my man!

  • We can’t be in a simulation because there’s infinite uncertainty in the quantum world. If the quantum world was simulated it would require a computer with infinite power to create infinite uncertainty, which is obviously impossible. A computer by virtue of it’s being a computer has to have limits. Our consciousnesses are simulations created by our brains but that doesn’t mean our brains are themselves in a simulation.

  • Simulation theory has yet to provide a concrete distinction between their idea of a simulation and an actual physical reality.

  • So many theoretical physicists have said the same thing. In fact I have heard theories where it’s claimed that the simulation could be several layers deep. As in simulations within simulations. Imagine that, you think you get out of this simulation only to find yourself in another one.
