  • Denying the human soul doesn’t make it true.

  • Isn’t it because our brain’s release a small amount of Dimethyltryptamine right before we die?

  • A small DMT release will do that

  • Died once, yea very peaceful, got my arm severed, gone for 8 mins or so. No pain till I regained consciousness and they reattached my arm and the months of physical therapy after.

  • Of course he’s believes its biological. It’s all he understands. Even if you can explain the process, biologically, it’s almost immaterial as to why a near death experience happens at all. No doubt they’ll try to say there isn’t a reason. “There isn’t a reason” is what a scholar says when they dont have an answer instead of just saying they dont know.

  • I think it’s all the neurons discharging at the same time. We have 86 billion neurons. If they all emitted a one second image, they would show you 240+ years.

  • Scientists don’t understand yet because they only believe in what they can see to be able to call it fact.

  • I had a NDE five years ago. Most amazing experience. I think about it all day every day. Don’t worry about “death”. We aren’t supposed to be able to explain it. Otherwise it would make no sense to be here if there wasn’t a veil. We would have no purpose if we had the answers here on earth

  • I drowned when I was 11. I remember being terrified, then a glorious calm took over before just blackness. I was given CPR and have never forgotten that calm

  • The most terrible terrible moment, and the most significant moment of my life. I couldnt have ever predicted the feeling. Perfect peace. It was gentle. Death doesnt scare me at all anymore. I’m not even sure if I should have been scared in the first place. Dont race to it, but once you get there, just dont worry about it. Its wierd.

  • It’s amazing how the vast majority of subjects who encounter people during their NDEs only ever encounter those who have already died on earth, and not those still living. It’s amazing how the brain can achieve this complex sorting process during a stressful time like dying! You know, maybe, just maybe this is because they have in fact had a glimpse of the afterlife and the materialist’s explanation is incorrect.

  • It’s because now is the most depressing, monotonous time to live in human history, and most people who don’t believe in life after death simply just don’t care about living anymore.
