  • Imagine the EU chopping them up in their sovereign territories. These companies would face a global collapse. What would that look like.

  • Instead of censoring post and cutting down democracy they should start to pay taxes like everyone else. This is something the EU should care about so they could use the money for real problems and educate more people. Then there wouldn’t be so much problems with fake news.

  • They need to be treated as publishers then. They should be held accountable for things published on their platform. Don’t advertise an open and free place to speak if you pick and chose what is said.

  • The problem is that no where in the definition of news does it state “facts”. If you want to get technical, “fake news” should include information that is agenda biased, or a conflict of interest: such as any MAINSTREAM news outlet that is owned by people/companies with stock in pharma, oil, war, etc. Propaganda journalists prey on hard working individuals that don’t have enough time to research the facts. It’s just too bad that most don’t recognize this dire issue.
